This year’s competition attracted many more entries than in recent years, but helped as a result of previous “winners” being eligible to re-enter this year.
Thank you to the 10 entrants who between them supplied 16 entries for our judges, Graham Winters, FRPSL and Dr Patrick Reid, FRPSL, who judged the competition. We are all extremely grateful for their hard work, and comments and suggestions which have been passed on to the individual entrants.
The largest category of entries was in the Postal History Class with half the entries (8), followed by Occupation Postal History and Stamps (5 entries), Stamps (Traditional) (2 entries), and one entry with postcards. Best entries in their class are shown in red.
So there was great variety of entries and, in advance of some of us viewing the exhibits at our February meeting and the “live” exhibits on our website, thank you to all of you who contributed to this competition.
