The letter front is struck lightly with weak third type of concave GUERNSEY handstamp. On arrival in India is endorsed 'Forwarded your most obedient humble Servant / Chinoo /GRO' and on back struck 'Pstt not Paid' in black and a red small single circle with F / JU / 1809. Two complex pages endorsed on back 'from Europe' in manuscript with some other illegible marks. A scarce 2 page letter with double agent and an interesting range of different marks. Very scarce. |
